Global leading Client is currently recruiting for a Hadoop Administrator who has experience with Hadoop and Hadoop cluster. Based in Manchester, 6 month rolling contract paying up to £700 per day.

Essential skills and experience for the Hadoop Administrator, Hadoop Consultant, Hadoop, Hadoop Cluster

• Manage Hadoop Cluster Performance tuning and Hadoop Cluster Capacity Management
• Handling the change and problem management process for Hadoop Cluster
• Evaluating project design as per Standards
• Suggesting & Implementing Service improvement which can delivery effort or cost benefit
• Change Implementation as per project requirement
• Enterprise Hadoop Infrastructure Management
• Infrastructure Hadoop Consulting & Architecture
• Disaster recovery planning/Performance monitoring.
• Participate in Quarterly SOX audit& monthly operational review meetings.
• Provide consultation for Configuring and supporting high availability Hadoop Cluster Solutions
• Handling the changes and problem management for the processes.
• Planning and implementation of system configuration changes within schedule.
