We have an amazing new opportunity for a Head of Insight to join one of the fastest growing online travel agents in the UK. This is an exciting role where you will manage a Data Scientist and Analyst and play a key role leading Data Engineers to drive insight and analysis ensuring the business continues to innovate as a data driven organisation. You will use your skills gained in a similar business where online transactions are key to business growth and success. You will have an in-depth understanding of user behaviour and a great awareness as to the huge impact decisions can have which effect the conversion rates for its customers.

The Opportunity:

* Work with all key department stakeholders to ensure key opportunities for growth are exploited, innovate and use tools fit for purpose.
* As this is a newly appointed role you will enjoy a degree of autonomy over what technologies are used to drive decisions and improve insights given across the business.
* You will work closely with the data engineering team to define the requirements including the build of dashboards and use of analytics.
* Question validity of data and understand what features and customer experiences can be improved to drive increased conversion.
* Spot trends, solve complex problems and work closely with the rest of your team building relevant models to ensure the business continues to provide a great service and keep its unparallel growth.

About You:

* You will have extensive experience at a high level providing key business insights used from a broad range of data parameters to build a true vision of the real data picture.
* Ideally have travel industry experience, however candidates will be considered where you have previously worked with analytics and insights from a transactional eccomerce environment.
