My client is the UKs leading fashion retailer. They are a forward thinking fast moving company who specialises in driving their own branded products through their site but also collaborates with some of the worlds leading fashion brands. They cover everything in women’s and men’s fashion including footwear and accessories and are growing at a rapid rate.

They are seeking a Marketing technology manager to join their growing team. Working with two other martech managers and reporting into a head of Martech, you will join a team that is responsible for driving over a third of the company’s revenue. The Martech Manager will work to develop and support the technical capability of the digital marketing team across all channels and markets. The role will involve supporting the team’s technical requirements, at the same time driving the innovation of how their products and propositions are integrated with their partners and affiliates across the globe.

The ideal candidate will be agile and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will be an expert in data and digital channel technology including Tag manager, google analytics, javascripts and SQLs.

Main Job Responsibilities

  • Experience implementing complex tag management and writing javascript.
  • Strong knowledge in collaborating with a wider digital marketing team and digital channels.
  • Capable of diagnosing and troubleshoot marketing technology issues.
  • Procurement of new marketing technology solutions
  • Building and maintaining a backlog of open requirements, and communicating the status of the backlog to stakeholders within the business.
  • Constantly monitor performance & run analysis to drive innovation and change in the way that the company works with its digital partners.
  • Focused on supporting marketing channels to deliver profitability for the business.
  • Become an expert in digital marketing data collection, data onboarding and the technical underpinnings of the ad tech industry
  • Liaise directly with third party providers (e.g. social networks, search engines, affiliate networks…) for anything related to partner integrations and their future development

Key Skills and Experience

  • A minimum of 3 years within a digital marketing channel in a technical role
  • You have experience writing JavaScript and familiarity with SQL
  • Experience with online advertising tools (Google Ads/Google Analytics/Google Tag Manager)
  • Knowledge of the full digital marketing landscape, and interactions between channels and vendors is a strong plus
  • Develop clear and compelling roadmaps and help support proposed strategies for new products and product extensions
  • Bachelor’s degree
