My client has a requirement for an Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to work an initial 6 month contract in Eastbourne. For the Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to be successful they must be well versed in Oracle administration on v8, v9, v10, v11g & v12c on Linux operating systems. The Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) must have experience in software installation, patching, upgrading and migration as well as Oracle database backup & recovery. Some Unix shell scripting experience is desired as well as Oracle database performance tuning by the Oracle Database Administrator (DBA). Experience of working in the public sector is desirable.
