Mobile Software Support Engineer

City of London Permanent £55000 - £65000 per annum + benefits

You will be joining one of the worlds largest IoT consultancies who is looking for an experienced Mobile App Developer to come in and be part of a nationwide project. The successful Mobile App Developer will have experience in the following:

  • Development of mobile apps – iOS, Android and Windows, native apps and cross-platform
  • Web-based application development

Frameworks like Angular JS

  • Proof-of-concepts and prototypes
  • Develop (in part) solution architectures for mobile solutions
  • General architectural consulting for mobile app development
  • Accompanying Rapid Prototyping Workshops as a developer in cooperation with UX specialists

Desired qualifications:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or Media informatics (or similar) as well as lateral entry with professional comparable training
  • Knowledge of Agile Development & DevOps
  • Ability to travel
  • Basic knowledge of software development in one or more of the following:

Development Framework (Objective C, Swift, Android SDK, Ionic, Angular JS, Xamarin)

Experience in using development tools (e.g., GIT, SVN)

  • Understanding back-end systems/services (e.g., REST, Auth, Data)
  • Negotiable German and English spoken and written
