PHP Developer – Contract | 3 months | Manchester

  • Expert knowledge of PHP and relevant MVC frameworks.
  • Detailed knowledge of front end web technologies (javascript / jquery / json / ajax / html)

Main Duties & Responsibilities
Working in a team of six, the successful candidate will utilise the PHP Codeigniter framework for the implementation of daily tasks:

  • Working with the team’s software testers to develop and deploy insurance broking quotation forms.
  • Resolve issues reported by the support team by doing appropriate analysis in the framework.
  • Cooperating with the rest of the team to ensure the correct approach is used when applying updates or fixes.
  • Implement any necessary updates as requested by the team manager. Ranging from regulatory modifications to urgent development requests.
