Project Manager

Project Manager – Contract – ASAP start – ENGLISH SPEAKING – Germany

My client is a global retail brand and they are expending extensively on their project management team. They are looking for excellent technical project managers to join them to work on some of the most exciting projects within technology and retail at the moment.

You will be delivering and managing mid scale projects and parts of other projects in the product creation area on a global level. You will manage time cost and quality while focusing on the customers expectations and requirements.

You will have a background in retail/e-commerce and strong understanding of the product life cycle and product creation, any customisation of products is an advantage.

You will be responsible for:

– Leading and managing success projects, end to end, through applying PMI methodology

– Ensure full understanding of project scopes and design project plans

– Manage the completion of the project plan through effective coordination

– Measure engagement reviews

– Finalise all activities across the project to hand of the project at the end.

– Think globally and cross functionally

– Lead multi functional project teams and manage project members to perform to their best ability.

– Partner with IT supplier management in order to manage external suppliers

– Manage costs and budgets and tracking these correctly.

You will have the ability to manage a project team with a pro active mindset. You will have worked in a fast passed environment and be keen to work on the latest technologies. You will have a strong interest in technology, retail and product development. You will have worked on global projects and several at once.

This is working on some of the most exciting product development within retail/fashion and you must have a keen interest in this area as well as a strong vision for project management. Understanding product testing, and digital transformation of creative systems is a massive advantage. An interest in robotics, data science, artificial intelligence is also welcomed.
