The role

Salt are currently seeking a Senior Back-End Developer with solid experience in Java 8, to join the Worlds Leading Foreign Exchange Specialists.

As a Senior Java Developer, your main duties and responsibilities will be to build and maintain Back-End solutions for high level Greenfield projects. You will be conducting code reviews and working closely with other Engineers to work on existing infrastructure. The team that you will be joining are a high performing group of individuals, they are always looking to improve great performance and continuously going above and beyond for their customers.

My client are offering you the chance to learn and work with Kotlin! You need to have a passion for wanting to improve your technical skill-set and want to learn this up and coming language. If you already have working knowledge of this, amazing!

Essential Key Skills:

• Strong Java experience, especially Java 8
• Must have Docker, AWS, PostgreSQL knowledge
• Experience with Rest APIs
• Need to have the ability to use open-source tools
• Unit Testing experience
• Have a large understanding of infrastructure networks
• Keen to learn and work with Kotlin!

Location: Central London

Length: Permanent

Rate: £70,000 per annum
