My client wants to help the world experience more. They’re building a global product that lets its users find more of what the world has to offer.

They are doing it by building the largest aggregator of events and machine learning platform. My client provides the data, the functionality and the UI to let subscribers get personalized recommendations based on their location, likes and interests. My client covers everything from festivals to film, and live events, right across the UK.

My client is your social life Guru.

The scale of my client’s project is colossal and it’s all being built by a team of outstanding engineers who work across the entire stack.

My client is looking for someone who will enjoy autonomy and an working environment where every week is different as challenges here arise pretty quickly. Being flexible and having a ‘let’s get this done’ attitude is what they are looking for.

Python is their fundamental technology and strong experience with the Django framework is preferred, but solid familiarity with frameworks in other languages is desirable too.

Things my client would like:

• API’s – Django Rest Framework is used, and direct experience would be admirable
• Experience task queue technologies. Eg/ Celery
• Building widgets, web views, and front ends

Would be useful to have:

• AWS
• Ansible & Terraform
• Elasticsearch
• Postgresql
• Any commercial security experiences
