Senior Software Architect

About the Role

We have recently partnered with a global powerhouse in the internet services & domain name market, celebrating a history scoping over 24 years. They are currently going through a large digital transformation across the organisation, to move into a modern technology environment.

A key element to this project is the migration to AWS Cloud and due to this, they’re looking for an Architect to join their team and help design infrastructure & software services for their customers.

The head offices are based in London; however, they are a remote-first company. The option of working in their offices, hybrid or fully remote is completely up to your preference.

Tech stack: AWS | Python/GO | Microservices | Kubernetes | Docker

What You’ll Be Doing?

• Designing various microservices to ensure interoperability
• Designing the cloud architecture with a focus on reliability, scalability and security
• Driving modern engineering standards and tools, with the constant goal of the modernization of our systems.
• Prototyping within the AWS cloud, alongside a strong understanding of the full range of AWS products
• Ensuring reliable and robust software by setting up unit testing in the development phase – CI/CD

You Will Need

• Strong proven experience in software architecture
• Strong understanding of as many AWS technologies as possible
• Strong understanding of microservice architectures
• Experience with The following technologies, or relevant alternatives – Python / GO / Kubernetes / Docker
