Azure Dev Ops Engineer

Global leading Client is currently recruiting for an Azure DevOps Engineer that has experience in deploying applications based on Azure Web/API and functional app. Based in Sunbury, 6 month rolling contract paying up to £500 per day.

Package for the Azure DevOps Engineer with Deployment application Experience

• Must have:

• Experience in designing, developing and deploying applications based on Azure Web/API, Web Jobs, and Function App.
• Experience in Azure SQL, Cosmos, Redis
• Experience in Azure Storage, Azure Storage APIs and SDKs, Azure Resource manager, Messaging using Event Hubs and Service Bus
• Experience in building Azure Virtual Machines.
• Experience in Azure Search
• Experience in writing ARM templates, Azure PowerShell cmdlets and CLI scripts for resource management

• Could have:

• Experience in Azure Databricks, Azure Data factory
• Experience in Machine learning
• Experience in Azure Cognitive Services
• Experience in Azure Virtual Networks, NSG and ASG
• Azure monitoring
• Azure Security Centre

Development Skills:

• Must have:

• Experience in writing C# code, .NET framework
• Experience in writing API interfaces, integration with 3rd party APIs.
• Experience is using mocking framework for testing
• Proficiency in writing unit tests, using unit testing frameworks and automation of tests
• Should be knowledgeable of Source Code Control tools
• Experience in using Azure DevOps

Delivery Skills:

• Be able to transform a design into technical implementation. Manage the development life cycle through to the support on an ongoing basis.
• Review and refinement of technical requirements compared with the desired functionality
• Experience of working in Agile environment. Experience of working using SCRUM or Kanban
• Delivery focused with the ability to prioritise activities. Flexible team player within a small, multi-disciplinary team.

• Working closely with Service Portfolio’s Azure DevOps team.
• Possesses drive, demonstrable initiative and a strong work ethic.
• Good organisational skills.
• Solution deployment planning (during both pilot and primary roll-out)
• Professional attitude and presentation.
