AZURE DevOps Cloud Architect

Global leading client is currently recruiting for a Senior DevOps Azure Cloud Architect that has experience in Azure platform, Cloud Design and DevOps. Based in London on a 6-month rolling contract paying up to £500 per day.

Essential Skills for the Azure Cloud Architect with Azure Cloud experience, Cloud Solution Design and DevOps

• We’re looking for a senior cloud architect to:
• evangelize, design and deliver cloud solutions aligned to business and IT requirements
• work across the organization to educate, collaborate and facilitate the adoption of cloud concepts
• guide implementation teams to successful delivery, using industry best practices, patterns and principles
• serve as a field guide and champion of Agile software delivery methods
• lead the adoption of modern DevOps principles and practices
• design and deliver common CI/CD pipelines and test harnesses for the entire application estate

• Your expertise
• 5+ years’ practical work experience at a senior technical lead/architect level in a commercial setting
• 3+ years’ experience working directly with MS Azure,
• expert-level understanding of concepts such as:
• cyber threat defence, high availability engineering, containerization, single page application development, serverless computing, elastic scalability, high-performance RDBMS/NoSQL, big data
• multiple original contributions to significant enterprise software applications
• thorough understanding of a wide variety of both legacy and modern cloud technologies
• track record of leading and inspiring mixed-skill teams of 5-8
• thorough practical experience of Scrum framework (experience as Scrum Master advantageous)
• thorough practical experience with all phases of modern DevOps pipelines
• at least bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience) in a computer science-related discipline
