DevOps Engineer

Global leading Client is currently recruiting for a DevOps Engineer who has strong experience implementing CI/CD Frameworks using AWS cloud. Based in Sunbury, 6 month rolling contract paying up to £450 per day.

Essential skills and experience for the DevOps Engineer with experience in AWS CI/CD stack

Essential

• Experience working on projects involving data architecture, data migration and data integration
• Strong experience working with software-automation production systems (e.g. Jenkins and Selenium)
• Working knowledge of Ruby or Python and known DevOps tools like Git and GitHub.
• Working knowledge of databases and SQL
• AWS network set up and configuration experience
• Experience with AWS including native monitoring and alerting (i.e. CloudWatch, Cloud trail and lambda functions)
• Experience in working in a team operating an Agile or Scrum based methodology
• Experience with Azure DevOps / JIRA / VSTS or similar tools
• Ability to handle and prioritize time effectively while multi-tasking

Desirable

• Experience working in Oil & Gas domain and application set
• Experience of legacy to cloud integration (i.e. Informatica BDM, SAP SLT, IBM Sterling File Transfer and AWS Kafka)
• BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
