Network & Infrastructure Engineer |Northampton | 3-4-month Contract

My retail client is looking to hire a Network and Infrastructure engineer, with high attention to detail, to join their dynamic team to ensure their infrastructure is maintained to the highest of standards and supports all channels along with the distribution centre by working with both internal and external suppliers.

You will be responsible for providing on-going infrastructure support for technical configuration of hardware, software and services and give in depth technical support to ensure their networking and infrastructure maintains a high level of availability and performance.

This will be in a highly pressurized environment, working for a prestigious retail brand where quality is important. You will be managing and maintaining a 24/7 network and infrastructure that supports the operational running of all critical channels.

You will be working on:

– Office 365 review and implementation

– Implementation of security technologies.

– Design and implement new network solutions to integrate with new and existing internal and external network environments

– Virtualisation and consolidation of servers

– Support the migration of ecommerce platform to AWS

– Various network and system documentation, including architecture, installation, operations and user guides.

**The individual would also be expected to work outside regular business hours in support of implementing changes into the environment as per their change management schedules. **
