Senior Azure DevOps engineer | Liverpool Street, London |6 month contract

Role Title: DevOps Engineer

Reports to: Head of TechOps

Purpose of Role

Build and support the Azure service, integrate processes and tools for monitoring and run

Work with developers, third parties, end customer to ensure we meet SLA’s and KPI’s

About the company:

My client is a start-up funded by NatWest and WorldPay, focussed on payments and financial services to allow merchants to build their businesses with data. They want to help merchants make better decisions through building an insight led product. They are currently building a B2B merchant platform and require DevOps engineers to do so.

This role will give you the chance to join a fun, dynamic group of individuals, all working hard to deliver an ecosystem that enables businesses to take payments, run their businesses more effectively, grow their businesses by connecting with their customers better, and give back to the communities they are a part of.

Responsibilities:

Work closely with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to build to designed architecture patterns

Work with technical partners to create operational capabilities

Support services once live and continually enhance capability for client and internal resources

You will be working with 3 other DevOps engineers and leading them as the senior engineer.

What we are looking for

We are looking for highly skilled technologist with exposure to cloud services., ideally you will have experience of cloud architecture: iaas, paas & saas with experience in Microsoft Azure preferred. Given the current state of the environment experience of setting up greenfield services in the enterprise will be beneficial to you and the client.

Good understanding of big data frameworks and experience implementing Splunk or similar tools for creating operational dashboards
