Senior DevOps Engineer

Senior DevOps Engineer | International travel required | Contract

My client is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer, and someone who is capable of CI/CD set up using different toolsets, automation and scripting, someone who can establish reliable and resiliant prod environments, someone ho can build production ready infra on different clouds. Cloud migrations/optimization/ assessment experience is needed.

My client’s DevOps team participates in the projects of different size delivering Cloud services. They help to onboard small or big challenging projects in the delivery organization as part of the DevOps team and demonstrate the excellence of the DevOps team. Typical project engagement varies from a few days to a month engagement to resolve different DevOps tasks, learn new technology and prototype solutions. This position would require from 30 to 50% traveling, both domestically and internationally.

The successful candidate is to join an existing team of skilled DevOps minded engineers, not tied to specific projects, technologies, timelines. We are looking for a team member to help with various projects as well as continuous research and new technologies investigation.

· SQL Databases

· (As a plus) Docker containers or Kubernetes,

· NoSQL Databases:

· Programming using script languages

· Configuration management and orchestration

· Monitoring

· CI/CD implementation tools:

· Understanding of automated test and code quality checks concepts

· Experience working with HighLoad systems with uninterrupted continuous operation (24х7х365).
