We’re looking for motivated professionals to play a critical role as a Senior DevOps Engineer in delivering enterprise products and services for a market leading SaaS company in London. If you have the ability to build, configure, drive automation and manage a cloud based platform, then you could be the DevOps Engineer we’re looking for.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

As a Senior DevOps Engineer you will be responsible for delivering a secure, resilient, high availability environment and you will be involved in the design and architecture of the infrastructure required to deliver and sustain our portfolio of online services.

You will contribute to the design, build and operational management of a highly scalable, secure and available infrastructure that enable the SaaS platform to operate.

Create tools and automated workflow capabilities to enable other members of the Agile team to test and promote code across the different environments and into production whilst promoting, documenting and implementing systems infrastructure best practices.

This position will suit a highly driven individual seeking a collaborative environment with the opportunity to have direct influence on day to day operations and product development.

Key Requirements:

– Excellent hands on Linux skills and Linux server orchestration skills; coupled with a great understanding of DevOps principles

– Significant experience of running services in AWS

– Scripting skills : Bash/Python/Ruby

– Experience of Automation/Configuration management tools preferably Ansible/Terraform

– Excellent verbal and written communication skills with internal customer service, communication, and coordination.

– Experience supporting high availability systems and scalable architectures

– It is also beneficial to have come from a Linux System Administration background and have previously worked in an eCommerce or SaaS environment
