Our client is a leading provider of Business Process Outsourcing and operational transformation, specialising in the provision of lending, investments and savings services.

Our client is currently working with a financial services organisation under-going a major transformation programme to improve its operational effectiveness. As a Solution Architect you will be responsible for developing the technical road map along with the technical frameworks for this transformation. This is a client facing role where you will be expected to interpret client business requirements and translating these requirements into the creation of holistic solutions. You will utilise a combination of Target’s in-house capabilities in conjunction with the capabilities of 3rd party fintech to drive solutions which meet and exceed client expectations. Your exceptional solutioning capability will be backed up with strong technical knowledge to ensure the production of holistic solutions that provide implementation guidance for in-house technical teams and our selected business partners.

Responsibilities:

* Work with our client to propose a viable solution architecture supported by spikes and POCs to prove in practice architectural decisions

* Design high quality, scalable, secure and resilient solutions for Target and the requirements of its existing or potential clients.

* Utilise effective design capability that can be articulated to clients and internal teams for the development of proposed solutions.

* Be hands-on in developing and evolving a working prototype against the defined technical architecture and approach

* Providing support in estimating the effort to deliver the application and help produce a Project Backlog & Sprint Forecast for the application

* Bring to the group demonstrable experience from previous work on complex solution architectures and approaches and a knowledge of robust DevOps procedures

* Support the wider development team with both high and low-level technology decisions and implementations

Skills & Experience

* Demonstrable expertise in defining complex modular, scalable, maintainable and flexible architectures that are able to be implemented within an aggressive timeframe

* Experience in architecting performant solutions that integrate with multiple third-party services

* Able to lead a development team and take responsibility for owning and articulating technical approaches and solutions

* Able to write technical documentation

* Able to explain technology approaches and solutions to non-technical people

* Demonstrable experience in engaging and interacting with senior client stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle

* Experience with modern frameworks, libraries, technologies and approaches across the full technology stack

* Experience with setting up and maintaining Continuous Integration Pipelines and instigating a robust DevOps culture

* Expertise with version control systems such as Git

* Nice to have: Experience with containers and configuration as cod
