SRE/Sys Admin

Key Responsibilities

The SRE engineer is the person we trust to identify operational, performance, security and availability constraints and outline opportunities for improvement and evolution. The SRE Engineer performs daily delivery and operation activities in order to support our platform services and components.

• Have hand-on experience with code security and quality analysis tools, integrated with our CI/CD pipelines;
• Maintain optimal levels of observability over the platform, application and service layers (logs, metrics, alerts);
• Drive definition and implementation of SLIs for all services provided by the function;
• Work towards high levels of availability, resilience and security, striving to achieve our SLOs and SLAs;

Requirements

• Proven experience in developing and operating scalable and highly available systems in an effectively distributed ecosystem
• Linux/Unix Systems Administration: RedHat and CentOS
• Extensive experience in integrations with REST API’s and data streams
• Automation and “gitops” driven
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform (vCenter/VMware)
• Configuration Management: Ansible
• SCM and CI/CD tools: Git/GitLab
• Containers: Docker
• Monitoring tools: Prometheus and Grafana
