Azure Cloud Enterprise Architect

A Global Leading company is currently recruiting for a Azure Cloud Enterprise Architect that has experience with design, implementing and deploying Azure dedicated and hybrid deployments. Based in London. 6 month rolling contract paying up £650 per day depending on skills and experience.

Essential skills and experience required for the Azure Cloud Enterprise Architect, Solutions Architect, Azure, Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Azure Stack, Windows Azure, Design

• Demonstrable experience in design, implementing and deploying Azure dedicated and hybrid deployments
• Experience with migration from on premise to Cloud Platforms e.g. Microsoft Azure
• Experience with Active Directory, disaster recovery (including ASR), troubleshooting
• Proficiency in building Windows Systems and provisioning them via deployment technologies.
• Experience working with server virtualisation technologies (Hyper-V, VMWare, Citrix)
• Proficient experience of IaaS cloud services (Azure stack, VMM, Windows Azure).
• Expert knowledge of Infrastructure Deployment Automation e.g. Docker and Puppet/Chef
• Experience of Scripting and programming languages, ideally PowerShell and DSC & JEA
• Experience deploying Windows 10, Windows 7 VDI and integration with Office 365

Purpose of the role – Azure Cloud Enterprise Architect, Solutions Architect, Azure, Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Azure Stack, Windows Azure, Design

The Enterprise Cloud Architect, will be responsible for defining and overseeing Client’s Cloud Strategy and then driving the Cloud transformation forwards with Senior Stakeholders. This will involve understanding business requirements, aligning to corporate strategy and architecting IT transformation projects.
