Head Of Infrastructure

You will be joining an established innovator of technology for messaging and communication who focus on connecting their clients with consumers through various platforms in order to provide analytic data, as well as marketing tools to influence and monitor buyer behavior. This is done using an intelligent cloud-based solution that sends personalised and timed messages in real time to any device.

As Head of Infrastructure you will be responsible for:

• Implement and manage IT strategy that takes into consideration BI solutions and Data Drive strategy
• 24/7 Operations of the SaaS systems to ensure efficient availability to customers
• Ensure industry standards are met in line with certifications especially in relation customer data security
• Operations are managed and maintained in alignment with customer direction
• Oversee all infrastructure aspects of major migrations of core production systems from Data Centres to a cloud-based service provider
• Ensure that services are maintained to meet client SLA’s

Skills/Experience

• Experience within a SaaS Organisation
• Experience with Data center migration to Cloud Service Providers
• Global team management and setting global strategies
• Cost efficiency measures
• Contract negation for vendors
• Manage and maintain physical and DC’s.
• Familiar with being hands-on with the following: Storage systems, Virtualisation, Firewalls, Load Balancing, Routing and Switches and Open Source systems
