Network Virtualisation Cloud Automation Architect – Contract | Newbury | 12 months

Responsibilities:
Taking Use-Cases, Solutions and Roadmaps through the evaluation, recommendation, design and delivery of cloud services in a cost effective, agile, scalable manner.
Define the use cases in detail and worked with vendors by organizing technical readiness and followed with detailed design meetings.
Architectural conflicts propose & present various options to mitigate the conflict by following the Industry best practices.
Provide client with Technical Authority leadership within the local markets and Group Functions
Working with other COE’s to ensure a consistent end to end architecture and solution
Designing cloud automation architectures suited to (but not limited to) service provider network functions utilizing relevant industry standards and best practices

Mandatory Skills
ONAP, Kubernetes, Docker, Openstack based and VMWare platforms In depth understanding of Software Defined Networking and Network Function Virtualisation. Any relevant experience in TMF (Open APIs) Software design and development experience Experience in a telecommunications environment either with a service provider or vendor delivering virtualized software functions
