Greater London Contract / 6 Months Up to £550.00 per day

Join their mission to push the boundaries of imagination.. You will be involved in the whole life-cycle of the development, from architecting the app to deployment. You will deliver high quality software using an agile, behavioural & test-driven development process and you will follow best practices and care about the code you write. You will be working on their brand new state of the art VoD & Linear Video Streaming platform setting new standards for media distribution globally across web, mobile and TV apps. They are a relaxed office where they value getting the job done over formality.

Essential Skills

  • 3 years+ of Java/ Kotlin Android experience
  • 6 years+ programming experience
  • Experience with RxJava
  • Passion for quality and best practices
  • Experience with Test-Driven Development
  • Google Firebase SDK
  • Extensive experience integrating with RESTful web service APIs
  • Good verbal and written English
  • Good understanding of visual design, UX and Material Design

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Proven ability to work effectively within cross-functional/multi-skilled teams
  • Continuous integration
  • Animation
