Responsibilities

· Oversight of the front end of our application with a view to realising our vision and providing unmatched and individualised experiences.

· Design and develop new features and/or improvements to existing features as required by the business.

· Manage implementation of the Design System (ODS) across Web, iOS and Android.

· Manage third party front end development resource to optimise delivery.

· Work with product and engineering to optimise team structures and software delivery life cycle ensuring the architecture enables independent teams to deliver continuously.

· Working with UX, drive utilisation of digital products and platforms through technology and continual innovation. Recognise opportunities for improvement and champion the evolution of processes.

· Working with stakeholders, you will help us shape our plans with an appreciation of the fine balance between commercial benefits and complexity of implementation, to make the most valuable decisions. Working with Product Owners, drive a fully operational backlog and prioritisation system.

· You will lead and work closely and collaboratively with the business, product managers, designers, developer and testers.

· Supported by business, understand and mobilise available insights and data points such as market analysis, customer feedback, site metrics, and previous usability findings.

· Interpret requirements and understand the dependencies on teams and systems to develop a holistic delivery approach to evolving the product.

· Develop an understanding of our delivery process – what works and what could work better – and suggest improvements by staying up to date on best practice and be the champion of these, feeding into the development and creative process.
