Software Engineering Manager (Mobile/Apps)

We have recently partnered with one of the largest household name retail brands in the UK to help them drive a huge digital transformation across the business.. taking them from legacy IT to modern product driven engineering. Their digital platforms interact with millions of customers daily!

Due to this they’re now looking to build our their Senior Leadership teams within Engineering. They’re now looking for a Software Engineering Manager for their Mobile/Apps division.

This role has around 8 direct line reports. Responsible for a lot of technical and product strategy within the business. The team is looking for somebody who has experience leading one or more teams previously, this would be a great starting point. This role would suit somebody who was previously hands on and has moved into engineering management with a passion for mobile.

Tech wise, knowledge on either or both, native iOS/Android technologies e.g Swift/Kotlin.

Location: London based in their incredible HQ (Flexibility, 1 day a week in office expectation and other days remote)

Salary range: £115k +, annual bonus of 20%-40% and and excellent benefits including share-buy scheme and discounts.
