Head of Compliance – Risk – AML – Frankfurt

A market leading, global Acquirer is in need of an AML Compliance Manager to join their Frankfurt office.

This role will focus on the deployment of regulatory compliance policies and procedures and will assist in the implementation and maintenance of regulatory risk assessment frameworks to ensure the Frankfurt office is compliant with local requirements.

Responsibilities include;

• Support the implementation of EFS compliance and AML risk assessment framework for Frankfurt.
• Assist in the deployment and operation of compliance programs relating to RCM, MMWR, ECRA, BCRA, AML Risk Assessment and AML Questionnaires.
• Execution of Second Line of Defence testing programme.
• Promoting a culture of compliance in the Frankfurt Branch through active engagement and management of staff.
• Provide advice and staff training to ensure adherance to implemented procedures.
• Occasional travel to other branch locations such as UK, Europe and USA.

You must possess;

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Financial Services and experience in compliance and risk, particularly applicable to banking.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal with local language skills (fluent German please).
• Ability to work as a self-starter in a project management team
