My client and I are looking for a Deployment Manager/Release Manager to be the coordinator and leader of multiple product workstreams in a complex and cross-functional team environment. You will partner with Product Delivery Teams, UX, Tech, Dev Ops, Infrastructure and digital programme managers to drive release and deployment planning, resourcing and execution across sub production and production environments to enable delivery of new and exciting solutions for the clients online experiences.
Key responsibilities:

Managing day to day activities to prepare releases for production and non-production environments across multiple digital products

Making sure deployment to production environments is planned, controlled, appropriately tested and meets all agreed standards

Plan future release cycles and windows

Identify, prioritise and manage dependencies for workstreams in sub-production environments

Work with the business to answer questions and clarifications from 3rd party delivery team to support timely delivery

Communicate release details and schedules to the stakeholder as required

Management and escalation of any issues that arise in the process of delivery

Assist with Change-Advisory Board decisions and business readiness reviews

Owning governance of the overall release cycle

Ensure all environments are stable and available for digital product teams to ensure continued delivery

Looking after a release repository and managing key information such as: release documentation, dependencies, notification lists etc

In order to exceed in this role, you will have demonstrable experience managing multiple releases, both large and small scale, simultaneously from development to production
