Head of Product

Salt is working with a profitable tech scale-up who have boot strapped their way to product market fit, engaging millions of customers globally on upskilling people of all levels around cyber security awareness. Their product offers guided and gamified training spanning users across education, business and personal development.

They’re looking for their first Head of Product hire to support the founding team in scaling their product function, currently sitting at five Product Managers and squads whilst contributing to the vision and strategy around growing the product internationally.

The Head of Product will also play a pivotal role in designing the org structure, empowering teams to work collaboratively and autonomously, integrating great design thinking, data science and analytics and a culture of rapid experimentation around product led growth strategies.

Here are a few key things they’re looking for in this hire:

• Experience building, coaching, mentoring and managing a team of Product Managers in a start-up or scale-up environment.
• A strong understanding and practical application of product-led growth strategies and pirate metrics (AARRR) spanning engagement, activation, retention, revenue and churn of users.
• A strong understanding of what growth levers to pull and how to move key metrics.
• Experience shipping both B2C and B2B products.
• It would be great if you have some understanding of edtech or cyber security.

As Part of the interview process you’ll:

Stage 1: Have an intro call with both founders of the business to learn more about you and the scope of the role.

Stage 2: Be involved in a group discussion based on a take home case study.

Stage 3: Meet in person to look at management, culture fit and further product thinking with the founding team and Product advisor.
