A global technology business are looking for a principal Product Manager, Terminal Product Manager, to help take a lead on these products of the future.

This will all relate to mobile Devices, wearable technologies, 5G, generally staying connected on all avenues.

The Terminal Product Manager takes ownership over product definition, product development and delivery of customised Terminals, mobile devices or online services targeted at the global market on-time, to budget, quality and compliant to specification (especially health & safety).

Responsibilities

· You will be accountable for end-to-end product development related to the delivery of mobile devices in scope of the global Products & Services organisation.

· Lead cross-functional platform and product development mobile device products in an international context. Matrix management of the device vendor and internal stakeholders such as commercial, portfolio, user experience, technology managers as well as the counterparts in the Operating Companies.

· Pro-actively manage device vendor in complying to our client & OEM processes and standards and manage business essential developments from their mobile vendor within the organisation

· Support commercial, technical and management meetings, providing expert knowledge on platform, products and OEM, as well as risk assessment and identifying areas of innovation.

· Assure milestones are managed in all device projects for the assigned OEM

· Report project and overall vendors status and escalate issues to vendors and internally

· Support commercial, technical and management meetings, providing expert knowledge on platform, products and OEM, as well as risk assessment and identifying areas of innovation.

· Hold regular Program reviews covering: product roadmap, project status update, technology and platform roadmap, key time to market initiatives, Supplier strategy and Supplier Relationship programme activities.

Ideal Experience

· Supplier vendor Management experience

· Excellent understanding of the industry landscape (competitors and partners)

· Proven track record to translate customer needs into market leading product roadmaps

· Experience in agile working and product development in a x-functional global team

· International experience and background in a complex multi business, multi-cultural matrix environment is essential.

· An expert in devices with some long-standing experience in managing high profile clients and their product launches, highly confidential work
