Product Business Analyst – Banking / Settlement domain – Brussels

Rate: 500 – 600 per day

Duration: 1 year freelance

**the role is remote until we are allowed back in the office. Must be happy to work in brussels***

You will perform a Product Business Analyst (PBA) and Service Owner role in the securities settlement domain within the Change Management department.

In this role, you will:

• work closely with internal stakeholders (i.e. Product Managers, Operations, Network, Commercial, GBS, GTS…), as well as with clients or external partners
• monitor the service level in the domain assigned to you, collect ideas from Operations and Commercial, and present proposals to improve and develop the product in liaison with Product Management
• ensure that the ideas are documented and prioritised, that opportunity sheets are submitted and considered by the relevant governance
• translate the wishes of Product managers, Commercial, Operations and/or clients into scope and service descriptions to be used by GBS and other stakeholders. This will be recorded in the Business & Stakeholders Requirements document (BSR)
• work with the GITS Architects to define the best way to deliver the service. This will be recorded in a feasibility paper
• prepare the Project Approval Memo with the Project Leader to support the request for investment proposed to Senior Management in the Portfolio Meeting
• define Business Service Solution Requirements (BSS)
• support the GBS BAs in further detailing BSS
• support the Designers in the preparation of the High Level Design (HLD)
• supporting the project sponsors for the Sponsorship committees and the Change Request process
• support new client onboarding (including contacts with clients where relevant) if this requires e.g. a migration process, an ECR, more coordination with other divisions, etc.
• monitor the service level and client satisfaction
• act as second-line expert support for Operations, Commercial, ADM
• own the operational documentation of the service (eg service description, newsletters, user guides, …)

Qualifications: Product Business Analyst – Banking / Settlement domain – Brussels

• Strong business or technical knowledge in the securities settlement domain, ideally complemented with business or technical knowledge in the banking and asset servicing domains
• Strong analytical and conceptualisation skills
• High level of autonomy and drive
• Strong Relationship Management skills
• Good communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with senior colleagues
• Strong team spirit
• Fluent in written and oral English
