My client is a corporate venture operating in the regulatory technology space. Its vision is to materially improve the effectiveness and efficiency of non-financial crime compliance for cross-border and domestic payments and reduce the overall level of friction in the global payment system.

The company is developing a set of API-based services that financial institutions will connect to allowing them to decommission their in-house legacy systems.

Backed by an industry consortium of financial service market leaders and equipped with decades of industry experience and advanced technologies, the company is well-positioned to become the leader in a fast-growing market and solve one of the most crucial challenges the financial services industry is facing.

The company is located in the Centre of London but a hybrid working model allows the diverse team to work remotely and schedule travel based on requirements.

What you’ll do

Reporting to the Delivery Lead

Responsible for:

– Supporting Product Owners (and other relevant Stakeholders) in their roles so that the development roadmap is clear and team backlogs are current and forward-looking.

– Working with the Ways of Working Coach to define, implement and continuously improve the product management approach during the build phase, including processes, tooling and metrics supporting the end-to-end value creation lifecycle

– Work in concert with chosen Delivery Partner and technology capability vendors to implement and refine the product management approach

– Promote and advocate a culture of continuous improvement, setting goals and milestones and being accountable for them

– Drive cultural change by championing a value-focused agile mindset and ensure the organization is at the forefront of industry best practices

– Work closely with stakeholders to co-create and maintain the approach, outcomes and metrics for the product delivery

– Ensuring the approach is aligned and consistent across the whole programme

– Continuously improving the approach as the client needs and capabilities evolve

– Identifying systemic impediments to delivering value and work with the appropriate stakeholders to unblock them

– Ensuring alignment to Product Delivery Principles across the programme through appropriate methods, such as: training workshops, individual coaching, hands-on delivery support, and building a product community of practice

– Provide guidance and support at governance, programme, and team levels

What you’ll need

* 10+ years’ experience in product management across the full product development lifecycle with exposure to a wide array of technologies, methodologies and business environments. (Mandatory)

* Minimum 5 years’ complex platform software delivery experience including successful delivery of a major programme (Mandatory)

* Experience of building and maintaining high performing teams (Mandatory)

* Experience of full software delivery lifecycle from product requirement through to release and support (Mandatory)

* Experience of working in waterfall and agile IT development environments (Mandatory)

* Experience of working within an Agile Frameworks such as LESS and or SAFe and adapting to meet the way of working (Mandatory)

* Experience of managing a distributed team (Mandatory)

* Fluent in written and spoken business English (Mandatory)

* Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Aha! and Miro
