Product Manager

Salt has partnered on a retained basis with a mission-led Fintech start-up bringing financial inclusion to the underbanked in emerging markets. They’re on the cusp of a substantial Series A funding round and are scaling their Product, design and engineering teams here in London.

To kick start this stage of growth, we’re looking for a Product Manager to step in and help shape their consumer-facing app alongside their new incoming VP Product. The Product Manager will be helping re-define the build of their app that allows money to move internationally, without friction and in parts of the world that where the lack of open banking creates bottlenecks around Fintech innovation.

Having already set up the operational function around moving money across MENA and Asia, the focus for the Product Manager will be in creating a great experience across the app, driving engagement across their 30,000 user base and acquiring the next phase of users as their Series A drives growth.

Here are a few things they’re looking for in a Product Manager:

• A passion for solving problems around financial inclusion.
• A technical background, able to leverage experience with API’s.
• You do not need to have Fintech experience but must be able to show examples of shaping consumer-facing tech products.
• You’re comfortable without a constantly evolving, ambiguous landscape and enjoy a start-up environment.
• It would be a bonus if you have an awareness of emerging markets.

This is a great chance to shape a Fintech product in one of the largest remittance markets in the world, offering users the chance to manage and move their money seamlessly, without friction whilst supporting the wider under-banked community.
