Product Owner

Salt are working with one of the UK’s leading business banking Fintech’s as they launch a brand new BaaS platform that will support the growth of financial services companies across EMEA.

Having recently made a high-profile acquisition and investing tens of millions into the success of the product, they are looking for experienced Product Owners/Managers to help define the GTM and drive the development of the platform to solve customer pain points.

As a Product Owner in the team, you’ll be taking parts of the platform from concept, working closely within your squad to deliver outcomes and move the right metrics. This is an end to end Product management role giving the product team autonomy to positively impact customers, with your time split between discovery and delivery.

The platform product requires a Product Owner that enjoys solving complex technical problems around payments rails, API’s, integrations and much more. Whilst you’ll of course be working with designers, there is a technical leaning towards this group of product hires and whilst you’re not expected to code or even previously come from a software engineering background, being able to empathise with engineers and understand technical challenges at a high level will be a necessity.

Experience across the following areas would be beneficial:

• Technical background with an understanding of product, software and UX across mobile, web and API’s.
• Exposure to financial products, finance/ banking related business.
• Experience building a BaaS platform would be hugely beneficial.
• Thrive in a fast paced, tech driven environment.
