THE ROLE

Our client is looking for a Commercial Business Analyst as it targets its next phase of growth, to help them expand their footprint with existing clients and develop propositions for new business opportunities that are knocking on their doors. The Commercial Business Analyst will be responsible for supporting analysis into, and development of, concepts and ideas that come out of engaging with both existing and potential new clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Working closely with existing clients and new business opportunities to:

o Analyse existing business processes and redesign future state, leveraging our client’s capabilities to solve problems and deliver value

o Coordinate requirements gathering and documentation with existing clients for new platform concepts and features

o Support with business case development and high-level requirement specifications for new client opportunities

o Support with coordinating and development of new business proposal material

o Support with development of sales and business development assets

· Collaborate with product team to contribute to wider evolution of Insurwave product and proposition

· Stay up to date with industry trends and events in areas such as Insurance and key markets

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

· Strong understanding of the Insurance value chain or a part of it e.g.:

o Experience working on projects that focus on the operations of Broking, Underwriting or Risk Management.

· Business analysis or consultancy experience in insurance operations
