Technical Project Manager – Comparison Site – London

A leading comparison site are looking to appoint a Technical Project Manager to work closely with the Tech teams and the wider business to deliver a variety of sequential projects with a technical aspect. You will work cross functionally with teams across the business, from Commercial to Marketing, to deliver wide-scale business projects, which deliver tech platforms, integrations and enhancements with high business value.

You will support the Tech and Development teams with planning, co-ordinating and delivering tactical and strategic projects. You will work closely with the Head of CRM & Head of Development to produce project plans and track progress against these, while maintaining a list of all project blockers, issues and risks.

Technical Project Manager Responsibilities

• Responsible for the management and successfully delivery of multiple sequential projects within scope, time, quality and cost
• Support Tech Managers with the monthly resource project allocation reports, including the calculation of the allocation of permanent resource cost to projects
• Work with internal Tech teams, external partners and suppliers to co-ordinate resource to delivery project objectives
• Manage project change control process to ensure the full impact of changes are understood before proceeding
• Maintain and add to a library of project document templates

Technical Project Manager Requirements

• 3-5 years’ experience in a project management role, preferably with information technology specialism
• In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, techniques and standard practices (Prince2, Agile, SCRUM, MOSCOW, RAID log, Risk Management, Change Management, Stakeholder analysis, RACI matrix)
• Practical experience of using JIRA and MS Project
• Experience with Salesforce and/or Contact Centre platforms is a plus but not essential
