Technical Product Owner – Front End, eCommerce, Domain Names Registry

Our client based in central London (but with flexible working) are a global business going through a very exciting period of expediential growth at the moment. This is an amazing opportunity for someone who comes from a technical background perhaps a developer that wants to progress to Product Owner or Product Manager.

You will be an expert in creating modern web user interfaces and customer-facing APIs that are a delight to use.

Looking for someone with a keen eye on user experience and a data-driven approach, you will work with their commercial Product Manager to translate their business roadmap and customer requirements into backlog items and see these through to production. You must have a basic understanding of at least one frontend framework, such as Angular, React or Vue and Jamstack principles. Having an understanding of the domain name industry is beneficial, but not required

Likewise, any knowledge of cross-platform development using Flutter (or similar) and data analytics/business intelligence would be useful as they enhance their offerings. Your skills in mentoring will help them develop the staff in your squad, both in Agile/Lean processes, as well as technical skills. You will work closely with their customers to understand their needs and translate these into simple, elegant deliverables that can be provided incrementally. Being able to see simple solutions to complex problems will be second nature to you. Driving full ownership of the customer interfaces (UI & APIs) across our Registry and DNS product lines, you will enable your squad to succeed in delivering an outstanding service to their customers and differentiate this company from its competition

Useful Technical experience

• Angualr, React or Vue experience for creation of user interfaces
• Python
• Working knowledge of MySQL/MariaDB.
• The ability to build strong customer relationships.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, code quality controls and security.
• Delivery of Jamstack sites.
• An understanding of PHP for legacy support.
• Knowledge of business analytics/business intelligence tools and how to expose their functionality to customers, aiding them in understanding their data
