My client is one of the UK’s largest provider of fee-free mortgages and has recently gone through a significant period of growth. Off the back of this, they are in the midst of a large digital transformation and are looking for a successful Agile Project manager to manage the Digital Transformation Programme.

Candidates should be able to work with stakeholders at all levels of the business and technical ability. They should be familiar with AGILE principles and working closely with the Products Owners and development teams to deliver projects to the business.

Agile Project Manager – Digital Transformation – Responsibilities

• Work alongside, support, and motivate delivery teams, and manage stakeholder expectations
• Facilitate clear communication between delivery teams and various stakeholder groups
• Co-ordinate the delivery of enterprise-class applications; online and offline
• Experience of delivering both customer-facing and back-office applications
• Manage delivery scope and risks throughout the project lifecycle
• Create and maintain project plans, incorporating budgeting and forecasting
• Create clear metrics to track progress of the team and report to stakeholders
• Coach on Agile practices and nurture positive team relationships

Project Manager – Digital Transformation – Requirements

• That you have managed software development projects and are familiar with agile and lean methodologies. A strong communicator with the ability to proactively manage stakeholders by partnering on decisions
• Experience conducting the Scrum Master role for a software development team that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory
• Experience of running projects through a full life-cycle of business case development through to handover to BAU
• Proven examples of using initiative and creativity to achieve project milestones
• Experience of being able to challenge and influence decisions
• Ability to determine and report on key project metrics to stakeholders with the ability to adapt project plans based on project reality
