My client is a corporate venture operating in the regulatory technology space. Its vision is to materially improve the effectiveness and efficiency of non-financial crime compliance for cross-border and domestic payments and reduce the overall level of friction in the global payment system.

The company is developing a set of API-based services that financial institutions will connect to allowing them to decommission their in-house legacy systems.

The company is located in the Centre of London but a hybrid working model allows the diverse team to work remotely and schedule travel based on requirements.

What you’ll do

Reporting to the Delivery Lead

Responsible for:

– Successful end to end delivery of a key capability of the overall platform using the agreed ways of working

– Leadership of the capability delivery including coordination with the Product and Tech teams and delivery partners and chairing of delivery forums

– Working with the other Delivery Managers to actively manage dependencies between capabilities

– Ensuring completeness of the capability backlog including non-functional requirements

– Production and maintenance of a detailed plan and implementation of reporting to enable tracking of progress against plan

– Validating that delivery partners have adequate capacity to ensure the backlog for the capability is delivered in line with the overall delivery timeline

– Working with the wider delivery team and support the Delivery Lead to drive end to end feature delivery in line with the agreed product roadmap and release schedules

– Supporting the delivery partners to remove impediments and roadblocks to throughput and release schedules

– Supporting the Test and Release Management Leads to ensure timely deployment of features into the different test phases and Production

What you’ll need

* Minimum 10 years’ experience in a delivery management role (Mandatory)

* Minimum 5 years’ complex platform software delivery experience including successful delivery of a major programme (Mandatory)

* Experience of building and maintaining high performing teams (Mandatory)

* Experience of delivery planning and execution including dependency management (Mandatory)

* Experience of full software delivery lifecycle from product requirement through to release and support (Mandatory)

* Experience of defining key milestone and reporting progress against plan (Mandatory)

* Experienced with a range of software delivery lifecycle toolsets (Mandatory)

* Experience of working in waterfall and agile IT development environments (Mandatory)

* Experience of working within an Agile Frameworks such as LESS and or SAFe and adapting to meet the way of working (Mandatory)

* Experience of managing a distributed team (Mandatory)

* Experience of performing strategic supplier management and management of delivery partner resource (Desirable)

* Fluent in written and spoken business English (Mandatory)
