** Digital Project Manager ** 6 Month Contract ** London (West) **

This role requires a well-rounded technical knowledge of e-commerce processes and systems to effectively drive implementation of technical projects that deliver commercial objectives.

You will be responsible for translating marketing ideas into technical solutions across multiple projects including responsibility for scoping, stakeholder alignment to execution and QA.

Projects range from our largest for 2019, a global UX project implementation as well as new CRM implementation and enhancements. There are also new technical enhancements to the website e.g. automating store locator data as well as execution of new backend product management tool.

These projects include working closely with our digital marketing team and global IT, scoping project requirements, mapping systems involved, creating and managing project schedules alongside global IT, tracking the progress of projects with the internal team, end to end testing and reporting on project results.

You will be required to work with developers and third-party agencies to build and develop new core functionality on the site and oversee the delivery of all site updates and amendments to developers in a clear and concise manner.

You will monitor and drive the progress of tasks assigned to the development team (Global IT and local Agency), front and back-end using enterprise driven in house change management processes, including security. You will communicate with client stakeholders and users at different skill levels and have the ability to translate commercial and marketing ideas into technical solutions essential. You will have the ability to work collaboratively across teams (locally and remotely) with high attention to detail.

At least 3 years’ experience in a Digital Project Manager role. Wide technical understanding across e-commerce systems including Magento. A high level of commercial awareness and effectiveness translating marketing ideas into technical solutions and can quickly grasp and translate what is do-able, what is not. Demonstrable experience in end to end testing and quality assurance.

System integration experience.

Ability to communicate effectively in English at all levels.

Strong knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.

Planning & organising, analytical mind-set, people management, excellent verbal and writing skills a natural communicator, Project management, decision making, analysis and problem solving, risk management, time management, relationship building.

Areas of Responsibility

New UX re-design project with front and back-end split and transition from Magento 1 to 2 will happen early November 2019. You will be responsible in ensuring successful post implementation including new functionalities that will be added until the end of December 2019 including auto ship, eCRM, NPD, age verification UX to name a few. Will require working closely with Global IT team and local agency.

Manage implementation of PIM (Product Information Management) tool for managing products in backend of Magento. Ensure fit for purpose by loading new products and co-co-ordinating with Global IT and OMS teams to get end to end tested and live, submit changes for improvement.

Assist marketing team with technical aspects of campaigns including code creation and testing in OMS. Data quality check reports from Global IT in relation to marketing campaigns.

Work with marketeers, developers and 3rd party agencies to scope, plan and implement new functionality on the site from January 2020 and oversee the delivery and testing of all large site updates to developers in a clear and concise manner.

Ensure the quality and reliability of the platform and solutions through the use of agile testing and quality assurance processes. Pull together UK test cases by key project and ensure completeness by all key stakeholders including phone order team, finance and warehouse dispatch team. Conduct testing and QA across all digital projects, both hands-on against agreed specifications including cross browser / OS testing.

Monitor and drive the progress of tasks assigned to the development team (Global IT and Local Agency), front and back-end using enterprise driven in-house change management processes. This will include change requests as well as any incidents that may occur throughout the week requiring urgent focus.
