Programme Manager – Digital Transformation
My client are one of the UK’s largest provider of fee free mortgages, and have recently gone through a significant period of growth. Off the back of this they are in the midst of a large digital transformation, and are looking for a successful Programme Manager to manage the Digital Transformation Programme.
Reporting in to the Digital Transformation Director, as the Programme Manager you will get the chance to influence the project design and structure, and partner with senior stakeholders.
Programme Manager – Digital Transformation – Responsibilities
- Delivery of programmes/projects according to agreed time / budget / scope / quality / change control criteria.
- Defining, sourcing and managing the necessary resources to complete these programmes and sub-projects
- Ensuring the development of accurate plans and budgets, finding improvements to efficiency and effectiveness in the use of resources.
- Effectively controlling the issues, risk, dependencies and changes in scope
- Proactively identify issues through the use of standard assurance techniques; audits, plan reviews, etc.
- Ensure there is sufficient capability and capacity
- Provide regular reports on project and programme performance and overall portfolio health
- Adhere to all regulatory requirements within area of responsibility and escalate issues quickly.
Programme Manager – Digital Transformation – Requirements
- Experience in Programme delivery in Mortgages/ Loans/ Banking industries highly desirable
- Proven Programme Management in similar programmes
- Strong understanding and application of Programme and Project Management competencies including stakeholder management, contracts, scope, schedule, costs, quality, HR, communications, risk, procurement, and integration
- Effective leadership, coordination, motivation, negotiation and dispute resolution skills
- Strong understanding of business requirements and technical limitations
- Ability to apply analytical skills and conceptual thinking to both short term and long-term operations and systems planning over a wide range of technologies
- Financial literacy to forecast and manage programme, project and departmental budgets, costs and revenue
- Project governance against improved project delivery lifecycle processes and escalated risk mitigation and issue resolution
- Ability to identify and manage resource requirements
- Project/ Programme Management qualification
- Excellent stakeholder and communication sills
- Passion for Digital transformation
