*** IT Project Manager *** Initial 3 month contract *** Based near Glasgow Full Time ***

ESSENTIAL experience of Mergers and Acquisitions and the management of system integrations ***

· Producing all IT outputs for the project to cost, quality and timescale.

· Creating, managing, driving and evolving the IT project plans

· Working with business leads to identify all the development implementation areas within project.

· Driving the IT project focus groups to agree the implementation plans overall within programme timescales.

· Ensuring IT engagement and tie-in is achieved with all other areas of the project, and that all IT considerations are adequately identified and assessed as to achievability

· Tracking of the IT project spend and escalation as appropriate

· Act as the representative on the project team for the IT director, and providing regular written updates to maintain effective alignment and understanding

· Secures and negotiates resources to fulfil the IT project plan and objectives

· Ensure that the overall project plans for mobilisation across all project streams are consistent with the IT project plan.

· Ensure that all interim test and other technical environments are made available to fulfil the migration plan

· Ensure risk and Issue identification, mitigation, actions and closures are undertaken

· Ensure that tight scope and other change control affecting IT is in place, ensuring that IT interests and plans are not adversely affected

· Take a lead in ensuring IT is seen as a positive and proactive part of the overall project, engaging fully with all parts of the project team, businesses.

· IT Excellence – specifically in relation to business knowledge and SOP.

· Demonstrable experience in leading IT change programme as part of a merger, acquisition, or contract take-on

· Usage of MS-Project

· Must be a knowledgeable and experienced in all aspects of IT including applications, ecommerce, infrastructure and data

· Change management including process mapping, transition planning and execution and data cutover
