JOB SUMMARY
My client are looking for an experienced Project Manager to coordinate the MVP launch of a new Car Sharing & Vehicle Subscription in the UK market
This role is to Project Manage the development and launch of 2 new Products, currently at the Requirements/Backlog stage. It covers the management of Software development based plus the creation of associated new BAU/Operational Processes.
You will be responsible for working in partnership with the UK Product Owner, to scope, shape and execute product delivery to time, cost & quality. The Project Manager will also be required to work with a broad range of technical and non-technical stakeholders, (both internal and external), to manage and drive the initiatives through the Project Lifecycle to Deployment and BAU.
Deep Technical expertise is not required but a level of technical insight in terms of Solution Design and application Architecture would be useful.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordination of the project delivery, project team, activity, risks, issues, dependencies
- Work in partnership with UK Product Owner to scope, shape and execute product project delivery to time, cost, quality
- Own the project governance framework – implementation and coordination of
- Own implementation of local builds, processes, training, marketing and associated operations.
- Interface with EU Delivery Manager(s) (Projects) to ensure that technical platform delivery aligns with wider project delivery
- Plans, proactively manages risks, issues and dependencies
- Maintain and manage key project artefacts inc. delivery plan, RAID.
- Partner with UK Product Owner to ensure testing and go live planning, execution, feedback/iterations
- Reports and escalates key updates/steer/decisions required into Project Steering Group (s)
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL
- Experienced, qualified project management skills (at least 5 years ideally gained within a recognised corporate environment)
- Experienced in navigating a complex pan-European structure
- Digital experience vital
- Experience of deploying brand new Products at an MVP level
- Strong Leadership and Communication skills
- Experience of working with a range of Business Stakeholders to create and validate new BAU/Operational Processes
- Demonstrable experience of working with product teams in an Agile/Scrum environment utilising a hybrid delivery model incorporating Agile and ‘Waterfall’ components including planning, risk & issue management, project documentation and reporting
- Familiarity with complex architectural solutions incorporating third party Apps, Integration Layers and Backend systems
- Good experience of facilitating workshops and working with both Vendor and Internal stakeholders
Desirable
- Automotive experience
- Understanding of legal issues relating to data management & compliance
- Ideally with some BA skills
- Experience of working in a small Company environment (c200 employees) – lean organisations with limited process maturity levels
- Experience of managed Test programmes including UAT
- KEY EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS RELEVANT FOR JOB ROLE
- Degree level or equivalent
