Research Manager

One of the UK’s biggest household name in banking are passionate about their customers always having the best experience possible across every area of their business. How do they do that? By having an amazing team of Market Research professionals that dive deep into understanding their customers, their needs and working with the senior stakeholders in the business to influence the company strategy, always having the customer at the heart of every decision, and they have two vacancies in this superb team for Research Managers to focus on delivery of Research programmes to join them in their London office.

Research Manager – Responsibilities:

  • You will be analysing data on the banks customers (collated through Net Promoter Score surveys) across all of their mediums for collection (eg online, text, mobile app)
    • You will be responsible for taking those data sets, converting to PowerPoint decks using data analysis and constructing ways to improve the customer experience
  • Present your findings and recommendations to senior leaders within the relevant business area in a way that is clear, informed, concise and persuasive
  • Use your Market Research knowledge to design, word and construct relevant customer surveys
  • Ensure that your research is getting the right feedback from customers, and if it is not, be able to reassess and redesign your surveys
  • Design and manage ad hoc market research, providing internal expertise and driving the performance of third party market research agencies
  • Contribute to reviews of research methods and be able to strive to continually improve

Research Manager – Requirements:

  • Experience as a Research Manager for 5+ years
  • Focus on delivery of customer research and customer insight projects within an agency ideally
  • Significant experience interpreting and constructing quantitative research
  • Must be very numerate and able to process data
  • Very experienced designing and wording questionnaires/ NPS reviews
  • Stakeholder skills (communication, and presenting) must be excellent
  • Good team player who is comfortable contributing ideas and listening to others
  • Openness/ Interest in going into the Financial Services industry is a must
