The role

Scrum Master who will be reporting to the Head of Technology, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that the scrum teams are highly productive and operate without obstacles in their way. You’ll also be responsible for protecting the team to make sure that they are not distracted from the job of delivery. You will assist in forming the Company’s evolving scrum framework that underpins the team and enjoy using your previous experience to help the team in DevOps initiatives

Responsibilities

• As a Scrum Master you will Lead across 2 or 3 small agile teams.
• Act as a liaison between the Development, Product, and Technology teams to ensure that everyone understands what’s needed from them and they feel a part of the scrum team.
• Facilitate scrum framework process compliance inspections and artefact creation and inspections.
• Schedule, plan and facilitate collaboration per the scrum framework, daily stand-up meetings, regular iteration reviews and planning meetings
• Monitor the team’s workflow, helping them to commit to timelines they can keep, and focusing on delivering to these by removing impediments and distractions
• Report on overall progress of the agile teams, analyse tools such as burndown charts etc. and provide feedback to the Management Team.
• Develop the team through coaching and by fostering a positive work environment

Ideal experience BUT not essential

• You have a worked in many agile environments and understand the importance of strong organisational skills.
• You have experience as a technical Scrum Master.
• You have Development or Test experience.
• Experience on scrum of scrums
• Any experience of DevOps, Knowsley of code repositories, branch strategies, continuous integration. PPP, TDD all huge benefits
• Experience working in a regulated environment would be a huge benefit

This is a highly successful and progressive organisation which offers good career progression. The successful candidate’s will receive a salary between £50,000 – £65,000 + Benefits + 20% Bonus
