Scrum of Scrums Master

Greater London Contract / 6 Months Up to £500 per annum

Scrum of Scrums Master | 6 Month Contract | Inside IR35 | £500 per day | London (Hybrid working, remote-first)

A key client of Salt’s is looking to hire a Scrum of Scrums Master to sit above Scrum Masters and be the direct interface to Programme Managers, Workstream Leads etc.

You will have control, sight and be accountable for the moving effort-driven resources. E.g. “Does John Smith from Dev Pod 1 have capacity next week?”. (If they have 2 weeks per Scrum, that’s 10 days, 8 hours pp, 8 people in a Scrum = 640 hours to manage.

Rail or Utilities experience higly desirable.

Key result areas

* Defines and delivers against Sprint Goals towards quarterly team-level Programme Increments.

* Embeds good Agile practices and associated WoW at team level and influences the department via Agile Community of Practice.

* Discovers and commits Objectives and Key Results at the team level to measure success of WoW changes.

Key tasks

* Performs the role of Scrum of Scrums Master across up to 4 teams.

* Must be able to deal with the politics of a programme of this size & pace in a respectful, calm & pragmatic manner.

* Undertakes continuous/regular improvements via retrospective techniques of inspection and adaption, agrees measurements and tracks progress towards improvement.

* Undertakes Agile Planning techniques focused on incremental delivery of customer value with team, Product Owner, Product Manager and other valued stakeholders.
