Are you an avid sports fan, do you have an understanding of the time and money that is put into global sports events such as football, rugby, motorsports etc Do you also have a desire to see some of these sports brought to the 21st century for example using more Digital technologies or green energy?

This start up has been backed up some pretty influential people including some pretty impressive celebrities who believe in their cause. They are already sponsored by some of the worlds biggest brands and their competition are starting to take notice.

This company has gone from strength to strength and with its growth is now looking for an Ambitious Senior Digital Project manager who can come into this fast-growing organisation and help put some structure place. You will need to be able to stand on your own two feet, hold your ground were needed, lead and more importantly inspire.

Responsibilities

• Support marketing team and senior leadership team in the development, implementation and execution of our client’s digital strategy
• Create and communicate a strategic roadmap for all digital products, ensuring that they meet fan expectations and continue to evolve in line with market changes and internal strategic developments
• Ensure that the digital channels are continually optimized and the UX fits with business and fan needs.
• Manage the relationships with our client’s digital agencies; coordinating weekly status meetings and delivering monthly reports to senior management
• Manage the internal team, which include marketing team who do their own creative work and 2 back end, senior developers
• Work with external agency teams to test new product concepts

Ideal attributes and experience:

• The ability to work collaborate effectively across business functions to understand and prioritize varying product requirements
• Strong Project management skills
• Experience working on websites and mobile apps across different countries so taking into consideration translations would be a huge plus
• Experience of working with agencies, delivering projects using an agile methodology, and the ability to prioritise features and map projects out.
• Empathy & flexibility to work in an international environment and amongst a diverse international workforce A recognised Project Management qualification (Prince 2, PMI, Certificates in Agile methodology)

This is a highly successful and progressive organisation which offers good career progression. The successful candidate will receive a basic salary of up to £70,000 plus a benefits package which includes some pretty nifty designer clothes up to the value of £1,500, trip options to these global sports events.
