An exciting and rewarding open position for an experienced Technical Business Analyst. This international media conglomerate is looking to on-board a versatile Technical Business Analyst specialist to join them on a hybrid working basis (1 DAY A WEEK MINIMUM) at their London HQ.
This contract is scheduled to run for 6 months with a high possibility of an extension with a daily rate sitting outside IR-35. My client is looking for TBA’s well-versed with working across technology infrastructure. Previous experience in the media sector is preferable.
Acting as a conduit between the business and technical teams, you will lead work streams undertaking business, functional and technical analysis to develop and support key projects such as:
- Network Firewall Implementation
- Monitoring Tool Implementation
- Company-wide Device Roll Outs
- Provision of new Email Solutions
Responsibilities:
- Discover, validate, and consolidate all levels of business requirements, including any significant business rules that will influence the business solution design.
- Analyse the scale and impact of the business change from the perspective of people, process, technology.
- Lead the definition, evaluation and agreement of the business solution options – collaborating with key stakeholders across the business and technology teams.
- Establish a requirement gathering document for day-to-day business operations.
Essential Criteria:
- A good understanding of data-related challenges within the insurance industry, as well as the process of using cloud data solutions to address these challenges through client engagement and formal documentation of functional requirements.
- Must be able to articulate the solutions to senior stakeholders (both client and within the engagement team), while also ensuring the solutions are feasible from a technology perspective, and also functionally and financially achievable.
- Performing granular and detailed business analysis, mitigating potential risks, and identifying appropriate opportunities and solutions.
- Experience with project commercials, budgeting and forecasting.
- Good stakeholder management.
- Defining business requirements and articulating them back to internal and client stakeholders.
- Working closely with a technical build team (onshore, nearshore and offshore) to communicate functional requirements and ensure good technical understanding so build activities can commence.
Key Skills:
- Strong written, oral and presentation skills.
- Strong workshop/ meeting facilitation skills.
- Solution design, including the presentation and articulation of this to the client.
- Exposure to project planning and tracking progress to plan, while identifying and escalating emerging risks.
- Exposure and good understanding of technology infrastructure.
