Technical Business Analyst – Banking Client – Brussels

Rate: 600 per day

Duration: 6 – 12 months

Hybrid working – 3 days onsite per month, the rest can be worked remote

General Description

Manage the requirements for a range of projects implementing technical capabilities for the business resilience project.

Ensure that all of the business requirements are implemented in the technical foundations.
Special attention to the testability of all these technical capabilities.

Role

• Based on the regulation, the general architecture and objective of the business resilience program the technical Business Analysts will write requirements allowing the technical teams to understand which and towards what specifications the technical foundations need to be implanted.
• The business analysts will set particular attention on the consistency between the different projects and how the delivered capabilities will work together for a functional requirement point of view.
• In close collaboration with architects and E2E Solution designers they will then review the design , discuss and challenge it to ensure that all aspects have been considered and optimized .
• The business analysts will describe the processes on how to use the developed capabilities from a functional point of view and will highlight the links between the different capabilities .
• Over time the will build and maintain the business documentation around these capabilities.
• Finally ensure that requirements are produced in a way that they can be verified through testing.

• Analytical and able to derive technical requirements from non-technical documentation
• Able to write clear and concise requirements for technical teams
• Understand the overall context and ensure that the requirement fit the overall picture
• Can work autonomously and interacts with a wide variety of teams both technical and business.
• Able to build out a network of people
• Excellent verbal and written skills in English
• Critical thinker

The required knowledge

• General understanding of IT infrastructure (datacentre, networks, disk, servers…)
• Understands and is able to use the vocabulary used by technical teams
• Can write precise requirements in a technical language and is able to explain to business users the meaning of the requirements in a business language

Deliverables you will produce

• Requirement documents for the IT capabilities
• User stories describing the usage of the capabilities
