Technical Project Manager (Contract)

Technical Project Manager | 3-6 month contract | Inside IR35 | £400 per day.

I’m currently recruiting on behalf of my client, for a Technical Project Manager, handling one of their largest accounts – a global, specialist pharmaceutical services and products platform focused on providing ethical access to medicine. My client is a digital experience agency for business brands, by using their services, they aim to make their clients more desirable to buy from and more attractive to work for.

(Major clients: SAP, AstraZeneca, Mitsubishi, Avanade)

We are looking for someone with experience delivering end to end project management (preferably agency-side) of complex digital applications, including software applications and large-scale commercial websites. You will be working in a multi-vendor, multi project dependency environment, managing a multi-functional agency project team – including strategists, UX, UI designers, developers, QA etc.

What you will do:

• Working in a multi-vendor, multi-project dependency environment
• Delivering end to end project management of complex digital applications, including software applications and large-scale commercial websites
• Management of multi-functional agency project team – including strategists, UX, UI designers, developers, QA, etc.
• Planning and running projects to both waterfall and agile methodology where appropriate
• Developing a deep understanding of the client’s product, inside and out, and using this knowledge to support the team to define stories, acceptance criteria and prioritize a backlog
• Understand user requirements and ability to translate them into development tasks
• Contributing to scrum team activities to ensure delivery of team goals, acting as scrum master where appropriate

Essential experience & Skills:

• Agency experience in the delivery of large scale multi-discipline enterprise development projects
• Background in software engineering
• Thrives in fast-paced environments, bringing energy and a ‘can-do’ approach
• Flexible, pragmatic, and responsive to the team and client needs
• Scrum Master
