Job Description
Goals & Responsibilities
- Grow overall skills to gain personal maturity towards his/her role and to continue supporting the Agile Transformation.
- Coaching and Training Squad :
- For new Squad : support in Coaching and Training in collaboration with the Agile Coach to adopt Agile methodology, value, and principles.
- For mature Squad : fully involved in Coaching and Training to adopt Agile methodology, value and principles.
- Servant leader and process facilitator for the Squad.
- Maximizes Squad efficiency.
- Removes impediments when outside of the Squad’s span of control.
- Protects the Squad from external interferences.
- Coaches the Squad to be self-organized, cross-functional, and in the application of Agile artifacts and practices.
- Guards the process of adherence to IT controls. The execution of IT controls is for the squad and its members.
Activities
- Guards the way we work and the agile WoW of the squad according the agile OM
- Interacts with the ecosystem to clarify how they can best contribute to the Squad.
- Improves Squad efficiency by;
- facilitating team dynamics and ceremonies;
- ensuring the Squad solves the problems and follows-up the actions;
- removing impediments faced by the Squad and escalating when necessary;
- and suggesting adaptation in the process.
- Coaches the Squad;
- to be self-organizing and cross-functional;
- in applying agile artifacts and practices;
- in adoption of the clients Agile Operating Model.
- Collects and analyzes Squad Key Agile Metrics (velocity, …).
- Conducts the Squad’s Sprint Planning ceremonies and translates them into capability plans.
- Ensures the Squad comply to the Minimal TWA and DoR-DoD document (IT Controls Self-Assessment is still available if the Squad needs it but the latter is not compulsory anymore) and that it is kept up-to-date (as part of continuous improvement).
- Ensures that Risk and IT Controls related gaps are documented and agrees on remediation actions with Tribe Product Owner and Product Owner.
- Ensures escalation is done on non-compliant IT Controls as well as reporting on resolution actions plans to Tribe Lead(s).
- Identifies which Risks need to be documented in I-Track and informs the (Tribe) Product Owner(s) in these cases.
- Helps the Product Owner to take on up his role and manage the Squad Backlog.
- Shares impediments and corrective actions to the Agile Center of Excellence.
